ITI at Longleng town inaugurated

Dimapur, February 5 (MExN): Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Longleng Town (Nagaland) was inaugurated on January 28 by Commandant 9 Assam Rifles.
The project was undertaken by 9 Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarter 7 Sector Assam Rifles. The people of Longleng Town expressed their heartfelt gratitude to 9 Assam Rifles for doing a magnificent job.
A note from Lt Col RP Velu, PRO, IGAR (N) stated that a gathering of approximately 150 people of Longleng town and students witnessed the inaugural function.
During the inauguration ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner Longleng, SDO (Civil) Longleng and president of Phom People Council expressed their immense pleasure and satisfaction and also expressed his deep sense of gratitude towards the efforts of the Assam Rifles in the Longleng town.
It also stated that the 9 Assam Rifles assured villagers for further help and added that the people should come forward and extend co-operation. The people of Longleng town were also encouraged to maintain a strong bond with the Assam Rifles.
