New Delhi, July 25 (MExN): Nagaland’s Minister for Public Health Engineering, Jacob Zhimomi called on the Union Minister of State with Independent Charge in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri at his office at Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi on July 25.
Zhimomi apprised the Union Minister on the water crisis faced by the people of Dimapur Town and submitted a proposal for ‘augmentation of water supply’ to the town, according to a press release from Kuolie Mere, PRO (IPR), Nagaland House, New Delhi.
The Union Minister, it said, expressed serious concern regarding clean water for the public and assured to look into the project proposal. He also assured to discuss with his officers at the earliest to find out ways to help the State, the release said.
Zhimomi meanwhile extended invitation to the Union Minister to visit Nagaland during the Hornbill Festival. The Union Minister stated he is looking forward to visit Nagaland State and other parts of North East States soon, the release added.
