Kohima, February 16 (MExN): The Jakhama Inter-Denominational Crusade concluded on February 16 at Ze-Naki Ground, following four days of worship, prayer, and spiritual renewal under the theme, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses to me in Jerusalem, all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

Hosted by the family of Azho Sophie, Meyiengonü Tetso, and Tepusüto Sophie, the event drew a large gathering of believers from various denominations.

According to Koinonia Media Ministry, the crusade featured sermons from Rev Dr Zotuo Kiewhuo, Senior Pastor and Founder of Koinonia Baptist Church and Principal of Kohima Bible College; H. Rokopra Mekro, Pastor of Koinonia Prayer Centre; and Zashekho Hibo, Assistant Pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church. Their messages centered on faith, salvation, deliverance, and spiritual transformation.

During the concluding service, Rev. Dr. Kiewhuo urged attendees to remain steadfast in faith and dedicate their lives to Christ. He emphasized that God grants equal time to all individuals and will ultimately hold them accountable for how they use it. He called on believers to seek wisdom in the sight of God, repent, and embrace the love of Jesus Christ.

“Jesus Christ died for sinners on the Cross with forgiveness, paving the way for everyone to reach heaven,” he said, urging the congregation to remain unwavering in their faith and serve as witnesses to God’s love.

The final service was led by Khriezovolie Suokhrie, Chairman of the Men’s Department at Koinonia Baptist Church. Testimonies were shared, including one by Lhouzakie Rutsa, a deacon at the church. Special songs were performed by Jakhama Baptist Church Youth and the Youth and Junior CYE of Koinonia Baptist Church.

Praise and worship were led by Meciekhonu Pucho, in charge of the Koinonia Prayer Centre Worship Team. Many attendees testified to experiencing healing, deliverance, and breakthroughs, echoing the event’s theme of being witnesses of faith.

"As the crusade concluded, many left with renewed faith and hope, inspired to continue their spiritual journey," Koinonia Media Ministry stated.

Organizers expressed gratitude to all participants and supporters, reaffirming their commitment to fostering unity and faith among believers.
