Dimapur, Nov 1 (MExN): The NSCN-IM squarely held Goa Governor SC Jamir as the one behind the ‘quit notice’ served to the Tangkhul community by the NSCN-K and that the former Nagaland Chief Minister, on his 75th birthday, gifted “35 motorbikes to the Khaplang boys”.
“SC Jamir is directly behind the quit notice served to the Tangkhuls that he can never run away. AZ Jamir (sic) and Kughlau Mulatauno went to Goa several times for formulations/consultation with Jamir then issued the quit notice” an MIP/GPRN release alleged adding that he was involved with the NSCN-K and Indian Intelligence when SS Khaplang attempted a coup in 1988. It alleged that Jamir launched a peace offensive in 1995-1996 which cost the lives of “36/37 Tangkhuls”. Also, “SC Jamir donated 35 motorbikes to the Khaplang boys during his 75th birthday celebration”.
The NSCN-IM also alleged that SC Jamir attempted to rechristen the Naga Students Federation and the Naga Students Union Delhi to “Nagaland Students Union, Delhi” which the students’ community rejected and that “all these happenings are with evidence proofs and 100% confirmed that he (Jamir) can never run away or refused”.
“As long as Jamir live in Nagaland there will be no ceasefire or blooding and bloodshed in Nagalim. Those Khaplang cadres are his private army. The intelligent claimed that Khaplang group is the brainchild of the Indian intelligent” the NSCN-IM asserted.
The NSCN-IM challenged that rather than justify “let us reason what is right or wrong” and proceeded to observe that after Jamir visited Mon, the NSCN-K issued quit notices and then “again his visit to Pfutsero, Phek district what campaign is it for?”
It questioned whether the visits were for “sponsorship” or for “elections” and asserted that after his birthday celebrations at his Chumukedima farmhouse “bloodshed and firing has been erupted after his golden handshake”.
“How many motorbikes and amount been donated to the Khaplang cadres? In return what sponsorship is he for? Is it for law and order problem? How can he create law and order problem and how long this sponsorship will last” the NSCN-IM queried adding that that the Naga people can “identify who is the black sheep that has been handled by the Indian agencies”.
