Janshatabdi stoppage to resume at Dimapur station from Oct 1

Guwahati, September 29 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) today informed that the stoppage  of Guwahati – Jorhat Town Janshatabdi Special (Train No. 02067/02068) at Dimapur Railway Station will resume from October 1.

It was earlier suspended on the advice of State Govt. of Nagaland due to COVID-19 restrictions, informed a press release from NFR Chief Public Relations Officer, Guneet Kaur.

Meanwhile, the NFR has also decided to resume two pairs of daily DEMU special trains between Katihar and Teznarayanpur for the benefit of short distance passengers from October 5, it added.  

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in Railway’s website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NFR, it said. 

Passengers were also requested to observe the Covid-19 related safety measures and instructions of their respective states during journey.

Details of DEMU special trains:-
    Train No. 07534 Katihar-Teznarayanpur daily DEMU special will leave from Katihar at 06:30 hours to reach Teznarayanpur at 08:00 hours. In return direction, Train no. 07533 Teznarayanpur-Katihar daily DEMU special will leave from Teznarayanpur at 08:30 hours to reach Katihar at 10:00 hours. 

    Train No. 07538 Katihar-Teznarayanpur daily DEMU special will leave from Katihar at 16:45 hours to reach Teznarayanpur at 18:15 hours. In return direction, Train no. 07537 Teznarayanpur-Katihar daily DEMU special will leave from Teznarayanpur at 18:45 hours to reach Katihar at 20:15 hours.
