This will be his second time hosting solo, as Kimmel emceed the ceremony in 2012. "Jimmy Kimmel is the consummate showman," Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment, said in a statement. "With Kimmel at the helm, expect to be at the edge of your seat for a bigger, bolder, and better-than-ever Emmy event."
