JJB Wokha visits Wokha Observation Home

Wokha, September 14 (MExN): Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) Wokha along with District Child Protection Unit staffs visited Wokha Observation Home and held a series of juvenile sittings and interacted with the Observation Home officials on September 14.  

JJB Chairman, Seyielenuo Mezhu held sitting of the juvenile cases and encouraged the staffs to have close coordination with the juvenile families because ultimately they ought to be placed in their respective homes after being released from Observation Home. She added that the child in conflict with laws had to be thoroughly counseled and cared upon.  

Superintendent of Observation Home Wokha, Wobenthung J Patton also urged upon the stake holders and the staffs to rededicate our duties and made available our services to the institution. At the same time, he thanked the JJB and Stake holders for visiting and encouraging the staffs to work for the betterment of the Children in Conflict with Laws.   Counselor from DCPU Wokha spent his time counseling the Juveniles and asked them to realise and change from the last life in order to live a life worthy and healthy.  

The visitation came to a conclusion with a vote of thanks delivered by Abeni Murray, Probation Officer, Observation Home Wokha.
