Kats Collection, a store known for vivid collection of wedding gowns, has reopened in Dimapur. The store, located next to Toyota Showroom Dimapur, was re-opened by Miss Nagaland 2017, Marina Kiho on January 6, a press release informed. Kats Collection is run by two siblings namely Visituonuo Rio, Kenny Rio and their mother Kezhaleii Sekhose, it said. Speaking on the occasion, Kiho recounted that 5 years back there was hardly any young Naga entrepreneur, but said that with the advancement of technology and social media, their numbers are increasing. Stressing on the importance of technology and social media, she cited the example of Kats Collection which started online in the year 2011 via Facebook. “In order to start a business, one should not only focus on earning but give services to make lives easier,” the beauty queen noted. Further encouraging the youths to follow their dreams, Kiho said, don’t not to give up on your dreams, whether you lose or win. She also wished her best to Kats Collection. Pastor N. Paphino (NCRC President) also exhorted the gathering and encouraged the youth to only get “holy marriages, which is only respectable to the world but also respectable in the sight of God.” Tetseo Sisters and Sholo Thong entertained the gathering by presenting a folk song and a love song respectively. Earlier, Ketoulhou Sekhose (Entrepreneur) welcome the gathering while Zehovire Avi Kechu (Miss Dimapur 2015) hosted the event. It concluded with vote of thanks by Kenny Rio while Epibeni (Miss Dimapur 2017) marked the ending reopening ceremony by cutting a cake, followed by a closing prayer.
