
Kidima, August 16 (MExN): The Kidima Catholic Juniors Association (KCJA) Day was held under the theme “... and learn to do right. See that justice is done- help those who are oppressed give orphans their rights, and defend widow” (Isaiah 1:17) on August 12 and 13 with Reverend Father Thomas Muttathil, Parish Priest, Kidima as main celebrant at church premises.
The Reverend in his sermon said, “Good character of the children for good family, community and society.” He added that KCJA leaders are giving their best and imparting for the children’s good future. He urged to keep the good motto that is ‘to love the people and God.’
Divided into three groups, namely St Paul, St John and St Peter, KCJA competed in group hymn, quartet, duet, solo, gospel recitation and skit from Judges chapter 13- 16. The competitions cores were on catechism of Catholic faith for the greater glory of God, juniors instructors has said. Parents, elders, junior instructors and Franciscan Sisters of Saints Mary of the Angels (FSMA) also joined in the KCJA Day 2017 with Eucharistic celebration.
