Kohima, May 12 (MExN): The first annual general meeting (AGM) of the Kohima District Athletic Association (KDAA) was held on May 12 at District Sports Officer (DSO) Office Kohima, where many resolutions including a district meet and coaching camps were adopted.
A press release issued by the association stated that the meeting was presided by Neingusalie, while report was presented by KDAA Joint Secretary Leketoulie Liezietsu. The treasurer was also report by presented by Keneisevi Meyase while Nielazetuo Khezhie offered the invocation prayer.
During the business session presided by Thepfungunyu Solo, various agendas were discussed and the house resolved to felicitate its member who brought laurels for the association, to collect annual membership fee and to organise Kohima District Athletics Meet 2023, the KDAA informed.
Accordingly, the association decided to invite all the government and private schools within Kohima to participate in the meet, it added. Further the house also resolved to organise camps for both men and women athletics.
