Kohima, September 21 (MExN): The Kohima District Athletics Association (KDAA) will be conducting a selection trial for the Nagaland Olympic 2026 on September 26 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Registration for the trial will begin at 8:00 AM, followed by the selection trial at 9:00 AM.
A registration fee of Rs. 100 per participant will be charged. The selection trial will include track, throw and jump events for both men and women.
In the track events, men will compete in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and 10,000m, while the women’s events will comprise the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and 5000m.
The throw events for both men and women will include shot put, discus and javelin, while the jump events will comprise high jump, long jump and triple jump.
Interested athletes have been invited to participate in the selection trial and report to the venue for registration from 8:00 AM.
