‘Keep Our City Clean’ continues cleanliness campaign in Kohima

In continuation of the cleanliness campaign under the banner “Keep Our City Clean,” several people today turned up for social work here at Kitsubozou till Seikhazou.

The social work was joined by youth department of Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima, CRC Chakhesang, Kitsubozou, Panchayat and youth organization of Kitsubozou. Also joining the social work, Pele Khezhie, president Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union (NCSU) appealed everyone to develop the habit of cleanliness in their respective capacity to keep Kohima city neat and clean.

Meanwhile, Khriehuzo Lohe thanked everyone for their support and active participation.

The next social work will touch D’Block Kohima on March 13.

Mentionably, a cleanliness campaign under the banner ‘Keep Our City Clean’ is spearheaded by concerned citizens from various professions with a common objective to raise awareness on every citizen’s responsibility to keep Kohima city clean. This campaign aims in building consciousness among citizens, by coordinating with village welfare organizations, students organisation, churches of all denominations, colony youths, NGOs and stakeholders in the community.
