Phek, January 24 (MExN): Kenekhoyi Rhakho representing Rülüba ward today emerged as champion of the 30th Sühkrünye Wrestling Meet 2017 at Chetheba Town Local ground. Kenekhoyi displayed an agility and prowess with impeccable defense against younger, lighter, fitter and strong contenders before overpowering Keveto Medeo in the final to lift the championship – his second title at the wrestling meet. Keveto who was a title contender for the championship gave a tough fight in the final but Kenekhoyi proved a bridge too far. Meanwhile Khrünuzo Nyekha and Mhasekho Rhakho bagged the 3rd and 4th position respectively. Khruzota Swuro defeated Khrukedu Nakro to win the Junior category, while Vecukho Nakro and Keduzo Nakro bagged 3rd and 4th position respectively. Yobazu ward emerged as the group champions and pocketed Rs 10000.
