
Kohima, April 17 (MExN): The Government Middle School building, Kezo Town was inaugurated by Zaveyi Nyekha, additional director of school education on April 6 last with a grand programme organized by the VEC, Kezo Town. He was accompanied by official from the Directorate of School education and the District Mission Authority, Kohima of SSA.
The chief guest of the inaugural function highlighted the aims and objectives of RTE in the country in general and its implementation in the state and the village in particular while Ruovihulie Angami, Deputy Director of School education spoke on the aims and objectives as well as the implementation of the communitization policy in the state by stressing the four –tier system or four footed of a table consisting of the equal role of teachers, students, parents and the community leaders such as village council/VDB/student leaders and the church to make it a joint venture/movement.
The detailed reports of construction was given by the teacher in-charge as VEC secretary and well complimented by the project assistant of DMA Kohima. Construction of this school building started in 2011 with Rs. 8 lakhs and completed in 2013 with a total expenditure of Rs.16 lakh from SSA funding.
