Khusoh Khel Yoruba serves ultimatum

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 26 (MExN): The office of the Khusoh Khel, Yoruba in Phek today served an ultimatum against the termination from service of one Khruvotsu Khusoh from the post of a chowkidar under the establishment of the ADC, Chozuba, Phek.

A press release appended by Khusoh Khel Chairman, Satu Khusoh; Secretary, Vezholhu Khusoh; GB, Zapoyi Khusoh; and GB, Nesuhyi Khusoh informed that the individual was appointed to the post on land donor basis on May 19, 2017 after his brother passed away.

“However, to our surprise, he was terminated from service without any pre-information and without valid reasons. It is worth mentioning that the land occupied by ADC Office was donated by Dutsorunumi Clan of Khusoh Khel of Yoruba Village. The legal right of the land donor is deprived and insulted,” the statement noted.

It therefore asked the concerned authority to cancel the termination order and extend the individual’s service on or before August 31. “Failing to meet our sincere request, the Khusoh Khel Yoruba shall be compelled to take its own course of action as per the law of the land and even to the extent of closure the office,” it cautioned.
