‘Snooker is picking up in Nagaland’

Stating that snooker is not part of Olympic Games at the moment, he expressed hope that with the snooker associations around the world making efforts, the Olympics Association would accept it soon.

Appreciating CAN for providing a platform for players, he hoped that players from Nagaland would also be able to make it to the world ranking standards. He also hoped that many more clubs would join CAN. He also called upon the players to be sincere and dedicated and focus on the particular sport in order to be professional instead of being “Jack of all trades and master of none.”

Yanger, the first president of CAN chaired the programme while CAN president Atuyeto Zhimomi delivered keynote address. Baulkline Club president Krelo proposed vote of thanks.
