Peren, April 9 (MExN): The Kuki Inpi Nagaland (KIN) General Assembly was held at its Headquarters in Ahthibung Town on April 7. During the General Assembly, a new team of office bearers was elected for the tenure 2018 - 2020. The new team will be led by LL Kuki as President, Ngulminlen Singson as General Secretary and L. Singsit (Retd. IPS) as Speaker.
The oath of allegiance was administered by Rev. Chungpao Khongsai, Executive Secretary, KCC Nagaland Synod. During the Assembly, the KIN also felicitated some outstanding personalities in various fields. They include: 1) Custom & Culture: Seibem Khongsai, Hatjaphal and Haokhojang Kholhou. 2) Handicraft: Henpu Gamlhou, Proprietor – Henpu Craft Centre, Ahthibung Town. 3) Academic: Dr. Paojatong Singson, Ph. D. Assam University, Silchar, and Ngulkholal Khongsai, Scientist – A, under Bombay Natural History Society.
