Kiphire, January 18 (MExN): Kiphire District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on January 17 at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner’s Office Kiphire under the Chairmanship of DC Kiphire, Mohammad Ali Shihab, IAS.
The Board reviewed the previous meeting minutes and discussed the opening of new primary school at Thenentsuvong Village and restoration of old bypass road to Kohima. The board asked the department concerned to submit the viability report of old bye-pass road to Kohima in the next DPDB Meeting.
The Vice Chairman informed all the Head of Offices under Kiphire to be present on January 18 meeting to discuss aspirational work program where Nodal Officer from the ministry of DONER, SL Meena, Joint Secretary, Government of India will be present in the meeting. He also informed the Department of Medical, Education, Agriculture, Banking SBI Branch Manager, PWD, (R&B) Power, PHED to prepare for their presentation in the meeting.
