Kiphire, May 7 (MExN): Head GBs of all the villages in Kiphire district have been directed to cooperate and coordinate with the medical teams who will be visiting the villages for COVID-19 testing and vaccination activities. In a press release issued through the state DIPR, Kiphire Deputy Commissioner T Wati Aier sought the cooperation of the village heads and notified that “no village is to ban the entry of the team.” DC Aier cautioned that failure to comply with the order would invite penalty under relevant sections of the Epidemic Disease Act 1987 and Disaster Management Act 2005.
