The Kiphire District Administration on August 4 held an emergency coordination meeting with head of department at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner.
Reny Wilfred IAS, SDO (C) asked the department heads and the DEF to take note of security arrangements for the proposed visit of Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of State, Home Affairs and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio to Kiphire.
Disclosing the proposed visit, the SDO (C) has asked the heads of department to be present and prepare for any queries needed by the visiting officers.
The meeting also discussed about the forthcoming Independence Day celebration. Longtiba SDO (C) informed that due to the present situation of landslide and natural calamities, the meeting could not be held separately but the district administration will be dispatching the work distribution and asked the members present to take note of it.
