Kitovi gives peace a chance

DIMAPUR, JAN 21 (MExN): Ato Kilonser, or Prime Minister, of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Khaplang), N Kitovi Zhimomi, in a landmark statement issued today said that “with solemn affirmation, I have pledged to shoulder the task of ushering peace to our peoples and to our motherland,” despite “belligerent challenges ahead.” He said his deepest concern in his endeavours for the “stability of our nation” comes out truly “from the sanctity of my heart.” 

To live peacefully is undoubtedly “sensual thoughts of the corrupted minds which has been perfected into the perfect state of affairs,” the Ato Kilonser said. “So, with collective wisdoms, we must renew our aspects in all walks of life to integrate the restricted boundary to the zenith of rationale living.” 

Taking cognizance of “hazardous internecine trends” developed during “these decades of uprisings” that have eventually “entrenched the very socio-polity fabrics of the Nagas to the points of virtual extinction,” Kitovi said, “And the root causes, I believeth at this miserable juncture, is on the vortex factionalism in all spheres that is an undeniable truth which degrades the innate interpersonal chains of brotherhood. However, it has to be passed off with defined reasons argument.” 

To thwart off filthy minds, “perhaps upholding the crucial tasks in the wake of awakening the fallen society,” the Naga leader said it was imperative to retrace lost glory for the “restoration of practical moral virtues.” 

Kitovi has sincerely tendered his apologies to “fellow peoples” and particularly to Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and his family, “had my governmental functionaries while in disposition of duties in the past might have committed unethical acts or have applied the policies in any forms not in consonance with the slogan ‘Nagaland for Christ.”
