Minister for Social Welfare Kiyaneilie along with the social welfare department officials, home staffs and inmates at Pherima on March 23.
DIMAPUR, MARCH 26 (MExN): The Minister for Social Welfare, Kiyanilie Peseyie paid a maiden visit to the Observation cum Special Home, Pherima on March 23 and emphasized on the need to provide necessary care and development for the inmates and its home through proper planning and implementation. He further encouraged the Home staffs to perform their respective duty sincerely for the betterment of society.
Director, Social Welfare, Khevito T. Shohe, who also spoke on the occasion, said that the expected role of the Home staff is yet to be delivered and further expressed hope that cooperation and sincerity would bring befitting result and justice in future.
The Minister was also accompanied by Secretary to Social Welfare Department, T. Kiheto Sema, Society Director, ICPS, Khehoto Sema and Deputy Director, Imtijungshi.
The short programme was chaired by Superintendent, Rukuvoto Ringa, while Home Matron, Zipila Sangtam pronounced the opening prayer and Bible reading and special number was delivered by the inmates. The programme was attended by Pherima Village Council Chairman and its members along with Head GB and GBs.
