The two KLO members arrested by Dimapur Police on April 4.
DIMAPUR, APRIL 4 (MExN): Dimapur police acting on what is said was “specific information” arrested Bikash Barman, a member of the Kamatapur Liberation Organization on April 4. A press note from the ASP, Dimapur Poce, stated that the accused is “a self styled Assistant Finance Secretary” of the KLO. He was arrested from a hotel in Dimapur along with another “recruit” identified as Hironyo Roy. A cash amount of Rs 18000, two mobile phones, driving license and train tickets were recovered from their possession. The two have been handed over to the Assam Police. It was informed that the two accused had arrived at Dimapur on April 3 by train from Kamakhya and was reportedly en route to Burma “on a mission.”
