One of the three accused arrested by Kohima police in connection to the murder of taxi driver Swuduve Nakro died at a hospital in Dimapur today. The accused, Daniel Yimchunger died at the District Hospital, Dimapur at around 7:30 pm, September 18. He was arrested in Kohima on September 5 along with another, identified Avito Zhotso. The third accused identified as Toishe Aye was arrested at Satakha on September 4. Confirming the death, the Superintendent of Police, Kohima informed that the deceased accused was in judicial custody and was lodged at the Central Jail, Dimapur. He was admitted to the Dimapur District Hospital earlier today. Queried on the cause/nature of death, the SP replied that it would be ascertained only after the post-mortem, which will likely be conducted on September 19.
