Kohima, January 17 (MExN): In pursuance of the recent home department co-ordination meeting minutes, the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) today directed all the business establishments and shopkeepers within KMC jurisdiction to whitewash/paint the front side of their respective building and shops facing the road side on or before January 20, for the forthcoming Republic Day and also to hoist the National Flag on the top of their shops and buildings by 6:00 am on January 26. This was stated in a notice issued by T Lanusenla Longkumer, administrator KMC.
