Kohima, August 5 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) on August 5 nabbed six vegetable wholesale vendors, including four women for selling vegetables bought from Murgi Pati in Dimapur as ‘local products’ in Kohima.
Sources in KMC said that acting on specific information about transport of vegetables in the State capital, KMC Chief Inspector K Pienyu with two field staff searched for them in various market places in Kohima from 1:00 am today and nabbed the six of them from the town area at around 2:00 am.
All their vegetables were also seized, sources said.
