Kohima, April 28 (MExN): A three-day Children Sports Festival was organised by Bright Morning Star Children Home (BMSCH) in collaboration with Observation Home Kohima (OHK), as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from April 24 to 26.
Event in the discipline of football, badminton, volleyball, basketball and other indoors and outdoors games were played during the sports festival held at Pro Turf 7s Football ground.
Mhasimhalie Yhome, President, Kohima District Football Association, inaugurated the opening ceremony.
The remaining matches were played at the police ground Thizama. Mawi Guite Assistant Director, NIPCCED Regional Center Guwahati graced the occasion.
Earlier, invocation was pronounced by Abi Angami, Founder/President, BMSCH and welcome address was delivered by Alenuo Angami, Superintendent BMSCH.
