Holy Family HSS, Mt.Carmel, St. Paul School enter 2nd round

Holy Family Higher Secondary School, Mt.Carmel and St. Paul School Phesama today qualified for the second round after overpowering their respective rivals on day five of the ongoing 2nd Kohima District Inter School Football Tournament here at Khuochiezie.
Holy Family Higher Secondary School trounced Don Bosco School Tseminyu 2 – 1 in the first match of the day.

Holy Family HSS first occupied the scoreboard in the 5th minute through Honwen.
20 minute later, Shatilo Sen linked equalizer goal for Don Bosco School Tseminyu.
Honwen triggered celebrations in the Holy Family HSS camp when he netted the winning goal for the team in the 49th minute.
Mt. Carmel ousted CD Kings HSS Jotsoma by a winning margin of three goals to one in the second match of the day.
Namzuchibe, Bijoy and Rovituo netted a goal each for Mt. Carmel in the 19th, 55th and 60 minute respectively.
A lone goal for CD Kings came through Nekhrie in the 26th minute.
St. Paul School Phesama registered a convincing victory over Charity School Kohima 8-0.
Keleze of St. Paul School scored the 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th goal in the 3rd, 8th, 24th and 27th minute to become the third hattrick scorer of the tournament.
Mhasineizo contributed two goals for the team in the 26th and 47th minute while a goal each came through Kedosekho and Keviselhou in the 11th and 56th minute.
