Kohima, February 10 (MExN): The District Level Centre for Women-Mahila Shakti Kendra, Kohima held its quarterly district level task force meeting at the Office Chamber of the Deputy Commissioner on February 9.
The meeting was chaired by DC Kohima Gregory Thejawelie who is the chairperson of the district level task force, DLCW-MSK. Abeinuo Jasmine Ashao as the nodal officer for the MSK and BBBP scheme and urged the team to come up with an action plan for realistic outcome, stated a press release issued by the SRCW Nagaland.
NWWSB, Supervisor R Juliana Medom gave an introduction to the overall implementation of the scheme and also gave a brief explanation on the budget status of the scheme. MSK, Women Welfare Officer, Neipechau Mepfhuo gave a presentation on the activities of the DLCW, Kohima.
MSK District Coordinator, Kesoneinuo Kense presented the district action plan while MSK District Coordinator Vikeduozo Sorhie presented on the activities carried out by the DLCW-MSK, Kohima during the pandemic times.
The meeting was attended by ADC (Kohima), SDO (C), EAC (Kohima), representatives from State Resource Centre for Women, Social Welfare Department and Department of Labour.
