In keeping with the recent adoption of Kiruphema Bawe village by District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Kohima, the work for widening of the village road and construction of toilet under Open Defecation Free (ODF) has started in the village.
After adoption of Kiruphema Bawe by DPDB, social welfare department has been reaching the elderly persons with the packages of old pension schemes while medical department gave an assurance to open dispensary in the village.
Other 7 departments- treasury, industries, agriculture, district administration, PHED, election, rural development including Kohima Science College Jotsoma are also on queue to assist this village in their respective capacities.
Meanwhile, the Kiruphema Bawe Village Council extended gratitude to all the members of Village Adoption Committee (VAC) and the government for choosing Kiruphema Bawe village under 8th Western Angami A/C during the DPDB meeting 2017 for the adoption.
“The people of Kiruphema will always cherish your tremendous contribution and support in developing our village,” stated Neiyiezietuo Hesielie and Vikehiekho Dahou, chairman and secretary respectively of Kiruphema Bawe village Council.
