Our Correspondent Kohima | August Nagabazar FC and Khriekesa FC were deadlocked 3-3 in an exciting see-saw game of nerves today that witnessed 5 headers. Following a goalless 43 minutes of play, Naga Bazar’s Neiphivilie Seyie found the lead at the fag of the first half. Heading into the break on a high note, Naga Bazar’s joy was shortlived as Khriekesa returned in style through a header from Kekhriengulie Usou in the 54th. The other 4 goals of the game came in quick succession with Naga Bazar’s Kezhose equalizing through a header in the 62nd. Kekhriengulie returned with another header to equalize again in the 64th. The deadlock was undone soon after by Kezhoze in the 71st again with a header. It was a brief lead for Naga Bazar as Kekhriengulie completed a hattrick with his third header to equalize and also to become the first hattrick scorer of the Kohima Football League (KFL) 2017.
