Our Correspondent Kohima | November 6 Good News! Another recreational centre in Kohima christened as “Alder Retreat” was formally inaugurated here this evening by Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) speaker Vikho-o Yhoshu.   Located at Mewibogei, Forest Colony, near office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, this recreational centre houses children's park, swimming pool, health walk, lodging with five 5 rooms (2 suites and 3 double rooms) and restaurant opens from 11: 00 AM to 8:00 PM.   Speaking on the occasion, Yhoshu said Nagaland is blessed with a beautiful terrain and rich natural resources.   “However, we are rarely able to utilize these resources and turn them into places that are healthy and at the same time attractive. We hardly have any parks, outdoor retreat centres where we can take our family, guests, and friends out to get away from the sometimes loud setting of our town,” he said.   He expressed happiness that Kevi and Nini along with their children have invested in Alder Retreat.   “Now, people from far and near can come here to enjoy a peaceful environment where they can connect with nature and also spend quality leisure time with family, friends and dear ones,” he said.   Alder Retreat proprietor Keviyachii Liegise said that this recreational centre has been initiated as Kohima is fast developing city and the need for recreational centre.   Earlier, the function was chaired by Ningukhoto Zetsuvi. Pezet Newmai presented special number while vote of thanks was proposed by Zhapuvi Liegise.   One can get in touch with Alder Retreat @ 8131936724.
