BMS Jotsoma, Mt. Hermon win Our Correspondent Kohima | June 28 BMS Jotsoma and Mt. Hermon HSS today registered wins on day three of the ongoing 1st edition of Kohima District Inter-School Football Tournament 2017 being held under the aegis of Royal Club Kohima and School Education Department here at Khuochiezie. In the first match, Baptist Mission School, Jotsoma registered a 2-0 win over Naga Bazar Baptist School, Kohima. The winning goal for BMS Jotsoma came through Keneivizo and Viseneilie Rino in 33rd and 34th minute respectively. With this win, BMS Jotsoma will face St. Mary's Higher Secondary on July 3. In the second match, Mt. Hermon HSS defeated Chandmari HSS 3-2 via tiebreaker after both teams were locked in a 0-0 draw. Mt. Hermon will next face BHS Tseminyu on July 3. Earlier, on Tuesday, Bethel HSS registered 4-1 win over St. Peter School to move into the second round. Yhunzelo scored the 1st goal in 2nd minute, followed by Tingbadingwangbe scoring the 2nd goal in extra time of the first half and 4th goal in 53rd minute. The 3rd goal was scored by Fredick in 48th minute. Keyiewangbe scored a consolation for St. Peter School in 67th minute. With this win, Bethel HSS will play with Charity School on July 1. TMGHSS beat Khedi Baptist HSS by 4-3 via tie-break after the match ended in a scoreless draw. TMGHSS will now face Stella HSS on July 1 in their 2nd round match.
