Kohima, November 29 (MExN): In view of the 57th Nagaland Statehood Day Celebration at Khuochiezie (Local Ground), Kohima on December 1, the Kohima Police has directed the public to follow traffic regulations which will be “enforced as part of the security arrangement.”
• Only vehicles with car pass ‘A’ will be allowed entry inside Khuochiezie. Both entry and exit will be regulated from the Southern Gate. No vehicle will be allowed to enter the Northern Gate through Razhü Point.
• Vehicles with car pass ‘B’ will be allowed to park opposite NSF Office, Congress Bhavan and DC Office Complex.
• Vehicles with car pass ‘C’ will be allowed to park inside the Old MLA Hostel complex/ Phoolbari. Entry and exit will be regulated via Phoolbari Police Point.
• Vehicles permanently parked between ‘Y’ Junction and Northern Gate of Khuochiezie are directed to clear before evening of November 30.
• No vehicle will be allowed to be parked by the roadside from 6:00 am onwards during Statehood Day Celebrations at the following routes;
• From BSNL Telephone Exchange till Classic Island.
• From MS Classic Island to ‘Y’ Junction.
• No heavy vehicles will be allowed to ply in Kohima town till the programme is over. All loading and unloading of goods in Kohima town should be completed by 6:00 am.
