Kohima, March 24 (MExN): The Kohima Town Butchers Union is undertaking a four day exposure trip to Guwahati and Shillong from March 24. The trip is sponsored by Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) with a view to expose the local butchers to the butchers in other states and familiarise with the advancement to butchery.
Flagging of the trip comprising of around 20 members, including butchers and KMC officials from its office premises today, KMC Administrator Kovi Meyase expressed the hope that the trip would benefit the butchers towards learning the clean and hygeinic practices in butchery. They would be returning on Monday.
