Kohima Village Council (KVC) has decided to impose complete lockdown under its jurisdiction till May 31. The decision was taken during an emergency meeting held on May 21. During the meeting, the council resloved to close all the shops in the area and movement of persons including people going to agriculture field will be totally restricted. As such, anyone wishing to attend to agricultural activities should be camped in their respective fields until the lockdown is lifted. The meeting further directed it's unit executives to inform the citizens to procure necessary provisions in preparation for the lockdown.
