
KOHIMA, February 9 (MExN): The Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO) has announced new traffic regulations aimed at improving road safety and managing congestion along the route from Mission Compound to Ura Academy.
According to KVYO, the road from Mission Compound to Ura Academy will now function as a one-way route, effective immediately. All vehicles must travel in the designated direction to ensure a smoother traffic flow in the area.
Additionally, a no-parking zone has been enforced along the stretch from Kohima Village Crate to Mission Compound. Authorities stated that vehicles parked in this restricted zone will face fines or towing to prevent obstruction and enhance pedestrian and vehicular safety.
KVYO has urged residents, commuters, and visitors to adhere to the new regulations and cooperate with enforcement measures. The organization emphasized the importance of public awareness and compliance to facilitate a smooth transition and avoid inconvenience.
