Koinonia Prayer Centre monthly revival concludes

Kohima, August 12 (MExN): The monthly revival programme of Koinonia Prayer Centre, which began on August 10 at Tsiese Basa, concluded on August 12. The event was held under the theme ‘Generation blessings and generation curses’ (Exodus 20:5-6 & Deut 28).  

Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, senior pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church and principal, Kohima Bible College was the speaker of the last service. According to a press release, speaking on the theme, he stated, “With the generation curses in us through sins, we go to the 'tail' but in confession of sins, we come into a new covenant through Jesus Christ and become the 'head'.” Generation blessings, he said, come “when we confess sins and live in the obedience of Christ.”  

The service was led by Rokopra Mekro, Assistant Pastor, while special numbers were presented by Men's fellowship, Chuba Jamir, Ruokuovisienuo Nayak, and hosts family.  

On the second day, the morning service was led by Neibalie Kiewhuo, Associate Pastor, and special praises were presented by the Rubies, Neilhou Sopfünuo and Ruokuovisienuo Nayak.  

The release from Kikruneinuo Liezietsu, Convenor, Media team, Koinonia Baptist Church ministry informed that during the programme, five people were baptized, out of which, one was a non-Christian convert.  

More than 700 believers from around the State gathered to observe the monthly spiritual festival, it added.  

This month’s programme was hosted by Ketholeno Kikon and Nomesanu Visa. Men's worship team of Koinonia Baptist Church led the praise and worship.  

“Many gave their lives to Jesus and were blessed from breaking generation curses, many testified of physical healings,” the release stated.
