
Mokokchung, December 15 (MExN): After a night of musicals, twenty five year old Kokliba Jings from Kohima was finally crowned the winner of the first Naga Orpheus Hunt 2011 here at Imkongmeren Sports Complex which was witnessed by Commissioner and Secretary PWD Temjen Toy as the chief guest along with a host of other government officials.
The grand finale which was held on the last night of the ongoing M-Fest was witnessed by hundreds of spectators, was a lively event. All the contestants presented two songs each grand finale; Naga Idol 5.10 winner Renbeni Odyuo also presented at some songs at the finale.
Finally the verdict was out and Kokliba Jings was finally announced as the winner of the first Naga Orpheus Hunt 2011.
His closest competitor, Imtisenla, another contestant from Kohima, was declared the 1st Runner-up.
The winner of the Naga Orpheus Hunt 2011 walked away with a cash prize of Rs 4 lakhs while the first Runner-Up was awarded a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. The other five finalists were awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000 each.
