Konyak Angh calls for peace, justice

Tuensang, December 14 (MExN): Speaking as the special guest on the second day of the ongoing ENSF Cultural Festival at Tuensang, the Angh of Konyak said that ‘our work will progress when peace prevail in our land.’ He said that justice must come first to eradicate any misunderstanding. He urged the ENSF to reach people living far across the border of Burma and also advised the educated youths to push forward to lead the younger generation with high visions. 

The President ENGOA while speaking on the occasion called upon Eastern Naga People to support various agency and institution for the promotion of our culture and tradition. In her brief address Member of NSWC Ellen Konyak encouraged the leaders to extend moral and financial support to bring a change in the eastern Naga society from the state of ignorance. She also requested the Eastern Naga leaders to have clear image, conscious, uncompromised spirit and moral standard. 

ENSF Cultural Secretary T. Rongli in a release said that the highlights of the second day programme included cultural items. Invocation prayer was pronounced by Pastor Yanger, Sangtam Baptist Church, welcome speech by Medhan and vote of thanks by A. Chingmak.
