Kronu inaugurates playground in Pfutseromi village

MLA Neiba Kronu today inaugurated the newly constructed standard playground of Pfutseromi village under Phek district.   Speaking on the occasion, Kronu maintained that the construction of such standard playground was an asset to the younger generations of the village and neighboring areas.  

Kronu reminisced about his childhood days when he used to come to Pfutseromi village carrying his utensils from his native village Kami to enjoy the Christmas feast. Sharing happiness with the villagers for getting the facility, he called upon them to utilize the same fully.  

Following vast improvement in sporting infrastructure during the last few years, he said, there is now potential for organizing national and international sport activities in the area. This facility will also help the youth to channelize their energy into positive activities, he said.  

Kronu told the gathering that Nagaland is passing through a transitional period with political solution in the offing. In case of no concrete solution in the immediate future, general election may be held where the unanimous agreement for clean election should be practiced as per the clarion call given by the NBCC, he added.  

He urged the public to consider the election as a friendly match and elect such candidate who can bring all round development. He also highlighted the various developmental schemes in the area, adding that more are in the pipeline.  

The programme was chaired by Neilhwetso Mero, VCC Pfutseromi, report of the construction was given by Zhiepfulo Mero, secretary VDB.
