DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 6 (MExN): The Konyak Union (KU) today asserted that the demand for the state of Frontier Nagaland should be a “part and parcel” of the Naga political solution. This was resolved during an executive meeting of KU held today, informed a press note from the union. It said that the present districts of Eastern Nagaland have remained stagnant due to lack of opportunity in all fronts. The KU lamented that job reservations for over four decades has not borne fruits due to lapses in its implementation. “The Naga political solution is a long awaited one and we want to savour its fruition but would it bring any succor to our youths is the question often asked and writ large on people faces,” the KU noted.
