In coinciding with its golden jubilee celebration, the Kütsapo Students’ Union (KSU) is all set to host the 70th general conference of the Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) under the theme “Re-orienting issues” from January 16 to 18 at Kiitsapo village. Kütsapo village is located 10 km away from Phek district HQ. Among others, the historical landmark associated with this village includes the birthplace on the concept of VDB in Nagaland and also as the place where the Naga Shisha Hoho first originated.
The speakers of the three day-long conference will include: Rajya Sabha MP, KG Kenye; Krodi Rhetso, commandant 5th NAP Phek; Vevo Sapuh, Retd director Art & Culture Nagaland; Dr. Veniisa Tinyi, professor University of Hyderabad; and N. Theyo, former president CSU. Greetings will be shared by Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) president Kesosul Christopher Ltu. Solidarity message will be shared by Er. Joyson Fithu, president Pochury Students’ Union and Atokiho Sumi, president SKK. Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) president Kekhwengulo Lea and Zaposhelii Venuh, president Chakhesang Mothers’ Association will also exhort the gathering.
