Dimapur, August 24 (MExN): The Kushiabill Village Council (KVC) has observed that the “non-residents” of Kushiabill village have been dealing with sale of all kinds of illegal goods without the knowledge of the GBs and the village council without obtaining trade license from the village authority.
It may be stated that the village council in its meeting held on September 17, 2016 had thorough deliberations and unanimously decided to ban sale of IMFL within the village jurisdiction failing which the village council will take stern action.
In continuation with the earlier resolution, KVC chairman Sukheto Chishi and Secretary Temjen Mozer in a press release said that the village GBs along with the KVC chairman and secretary held an emergency meeting on August 19 at the residence of the village head GB, Subash Mech. The house resolved to inform public and the district administration that if any trouble arises in the village due to sale of illegal goods within the jurisdiction of the village, the KVC and the GBs will not take any responsibility.
