Zunheboto, September 6 (MExN): The monthly District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) was held at Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall on September 6.
This month’s meeting was held under the banner ‘Special DPDB’ meeting and was attended by one Cabinet Minister and four Advisors under Zunheboto district.
A DIPR report stated that members discussed about the ‘Iconic project/scheme’ where the Government has enhanced the Local Area Development Fund (LADF) from 1 Crore to 1.50 Crore for every constituency and all seven constituencies submitted their ‘iconic scheme’ which was approved by the members.
Minister and Advisors gave suggestions and encouragement to the district HoDs and advised them to be regular in the office or duty and also advised them to work hard, be sincere and have transparency in their work and try to uplift the Sumis of Zunheboto. They also assured them that they are always ready to address their problems if approached.
Minister for Agriculture and Cooperation, G. Kaito Aye directed all the departments to prepare a power point presentation of all their concern departmental activities within three months and be ready to present it whenever asked.
Advisor for CAWD and NSDMA and Chairman Zunheboto DPDB Kazheto Kinimi thanked all the members and concluded the meeting.
