Mokokchung, September 23 (MExN): Lakhuni Sporting Club (B) emerged as champions of the 11th Imchaba Master Memorial Nagaland Open Volleyball Trophy defeating Friends United, Chakpa in the final held at the Multi-purpose Sports Complex, Mokokchung on Friday. Nuklutoshi, Miinister for National Highway & Mechanical Engineering & Election, Govt. of Nagaland, was the Chief Guest at the closing function. He congratulated the Mokokchung District Volleyball Association for successfully organizing the tournament and encouraged the players to play professionally and aim to compete in the national and international level. Meanwhile, Sporting Club, Mangkolemba edged Longsa Sporting Association in the playoff for third place. Deputy Commisioner, Mokokchung, Sushil Kumar Patel gave away the prizes to the winners.
