Wokha, April 9 (MExN): The thanksgiving programme of Mhathung Yanthan, Advisor, Department of Horticulture took place at his native place, Lakhuti on April 7.
The Chairman of Lakhuti Village Council stated in a press release that there were Lakhuti participants from Wokha, Kohima and Dimapur as well and presentations by the Lakhuti Officer’s Forum (LOF), Lakhuti Village Council, Lakhuti Women Group.
The Advisor in his speech shared about his aspirations in ushering change for the betterment and expressed strong belief in the adage “deeds not words.”
Welcome songs were presented by the youth and students of Don Bosco School Lakhuti. Short speeches were delivered by Khondao Ngully, Er CM Patton, Titus Humtsoe, Chairman of Lakhuti Officers’ Forum, R Nzanbemo Yanthan and NDPP President 39 AC Benathung Kikon.
The event witnessed prayers by Rev. Ezanbemo Odyuo, Pastor Lakhuti Baptist Church, Oben Patton, Associate Pastor and Catechist Nyamo Clement.
