DPDB deliberates on construction of helipad at Shamator

 

Tuensang, August 16 (MExN): The District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Tuensang held a meeting at DC Conference Hall, Tuensang on August 14. 


A DIRP report stated that in the meeting chaired Toshi Wungtung Chairman DP&DB and Advisor for IPR, Village Guards, Government of Nagaland. After through discussion, the LAPD 2019-20 for the Tuensang District was approved, as per constituency wise. 


Wungtung speaking at the meeting deliberated on the guideline of the LADP where he also mentioned about the enhancement of the amount by 50 Lakhs per Assembly Constituencies as approved by the Cabinet and state planning board under iconic project.


 “The meeting also deliberated that all the tribal Hohos will be allowed to nominate one member each to represent the DP&DBs and only the nominee will be allowed to attend the meeting,” it stated.


The members discussed on the construction of helipad at Shamator and the concerned department also commented on the guidelines as per the department and was approved to forward to the government. Creation of NST office Assistant Station Superintendent at Shamator was also discussed and approved to forward to the government for further procedures. 


The house also discussed the following agendas: Construction of Drainage; Calvert from Fishery to Station School Bazaar (C) sector Tuensang; Repairing/renovation of GPS a Government Primary School Shiponger Village; Repairing /renovation of GPS A & C Primary School Kuthur Village and Up gradation of Government Primary School A Shiponger Village to Middle School were forwarded to department concerned for the technical clearance before the approval.


They also discussed on the penetration of Yuba Drug (madness drugs) to the district as per recently published in the local dailies. 


“The house resolved to constitute an action oriented body to assist and act with the police department, since it should be a collective responsibility the house also requested the esteemed member to contribute irrespective of their nature of duties,” it added.
