Tening, January 9 (MExN): Jalukie Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised “Lecture on Government schemes on social welfare” for villagers of Tening Village, Peren district on January 9.
AR in a press release stated that the lecture was delivered with an aim to acquaint people about various Government schemes. Jalukie Battalion approached various Government agencies i.e. ADC, Forest Department, Block Development Office branch, the Manager of State Bank of India and CBPO to enlighten people about their ongoing projects.
Approx 53 people from Tening area including Chairman, GBs, Council members attended the lecture. Assam Rifles apprise people about North East Council (NEC) scheme and also requested to join hands with us to form a co-operative society to promote and support cardamom production. The response from people was enthusiastic.
