Legend Club Kiphire beat 14 IR 5-3 to lift the 14th edition of the Mongmong Football Trophy at the Local Ground Kiphire on September 6.
The champions walked away with Rs. 60,000 cash, certificates and medals while 14 IR walk away with Rs. 30,000 cash and certificate.
Organised by Kiphire Area Sangtam Students Union, the 14th edition of the Mongmong Football Tournament got underway on August 25 under the theme “United we flourish”.
President KASSU expressed gratitude to the 7 AR Kiphire for donating cash, kind and logistic support throughout the tournament. He also expressed gratitude to all the donors and sponsors towards the tournament. All together 9 teams took part in the tournament.
